I henhold til Bürkerts filosofi angående modulære procesventiler og sensorik opfylder udformningen af skråsædeventilen af type 2300 alle praktiske krav, også under vanskelige anvendelsesbetingelser. Takket være de afprøvede, selvjusterende stopbøsninger opnås en meget lang holdbarhed og tæthed. Den parabolske ventilkegle giver en ca. 35 % større flowkarakteristik end gængse styreventiler. Den kan enten leveres med rustfrit stål eller med en holdbar PTFE-tætning til tæt spærring. Aktuatorens design giver mulighed for enkel integrering af automatiseringsenheder på alle udvidelsestrin, lige fra digitale elektropneumatiske stillingsregulatorer til procesregulatorer. Det højtintegrerede system af ventil og automatiseringsenhed udmærker sig i kraft af et kompakt design med glat overflade, integrerede styreluftkanaler, beskyttelsesklasse IP65/67/NEMA4X og en høj kemisk bestandighed. Dette system er udviklet til pålidelig, nøjagtig styring i anvendelser, hvor en høj flowrate er en fordel.
