The tasks involved in industrial process dosing are very diverse, but they all have one thing in common: high precision requirements. These requirements have to be fulfilled regardless of environmental influences. Bürkert now presents a new pneumatic system as a compact solution for this purpose.

Bürkert sponsors hydrogen electric race car

The fluid technology specialist Bürkert provided a fluid control system for the fuel cell stack of the hydrogen electric race car “Forze VI”. The racing team is run by students of the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. The hydrogen electric race car will attempt to break the record for fuel cell powered vehicles on the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife. Besides records the goal is to compete against petrol powered race cars to demonstrate how fast green technology can be. Bürkert will present the race car at this year’s Hannover Fair (Hall: 27, Booth: D63).

New at Bürkert: Type 8697 pneumatic control unit/position feedback

In combination with suitable process valves, the new components produce a compact valve system. Convincing features include an integrated pilot valve with manual actuation, an LED position indicator and automatic adjustment of the end position feedback.

High-quality stainless steel fittings now up to orifice diameter DN 100: Bürkert expands line of ELEMENT series valves to include new orifice diameters

The modular ELEMENT concept from Bürkert combines controllers, valves and sensors in an attractive high-quality stainless steel housing with intelligent and flexible system architecture. By expanding the valve line to include drive sizes up to 130 mm, globe valves of the ELEMENT series can now be used to achieve fittings up to orifice diameter DN 100, angle seat valves up to DN 65 and diaphragm valves up to DN 50.

Four of a Kind in Fluid Control Systems

Bürkert has attained a customer-oriented market position with four segments. The clear focus of this approach enables the fluid technology specialist to selectively address customers and gives the customer a better overview of the extensive product portfolio. It also serves as the basis for customised solutions in fluid control. Bürkert’s presentation at this year’s Hannover Messe focuses on their concept of segmentation.

The Ingelfingen-based fluidics expert Bürkert offers an extensive line of safety shut-off valves for oil burners. The low-maintenance solenoid valves are available in a full range of diameters and with high-resistance seals.

Compact valves with a high flow rate and power density

With the TwinPower technology the fluid technology specialist Bürkert has developed a new actuator design for solenoid valves that increases the power density by using two coils. This innovative actuator technology, which allows a very compact design, is now available as a complete standard valve line in widths of 10mm and 16mm, therefore offering more than 1000 possible variants for each width with optimal flexibility in adapting the valves to specific applications.
