Den pneumatiske ventilø type 8647 AirLINE SP er et modulopbygget, elektropneumatisk automatiseringssystem, som består af tilslutnings- og ventilmoduler. Den er udviklet specielt til sikker og komplet integrering i det decentrale periferisystem ”SIMATIC ET 200SP” og "SIMATIC ET 200SP HA" fra firmaet Firma Siemens. Type 8647 anvendes til at integrere pneumatiske pilotventiler direkte i SIMATIC-miljøet og aktivere via dette. Ved de pneumatiske udgange kan der tilsluttes betjente procesventiler, pneumatiske cylindre eller andre komponenter. Hvis der er installeret tilbagemeldere på de pneumatiske komponenter, kan positionen for de aktiverede pneumatiske komponenter vises på den tilhørende pilotventil. Dette kan spare tid ved ibrugtagning og vedligeholdelse.
